Anatomy by Andreas Vesalius

 
 Vesalius was a gifted disector and professor at the University of Padua (Italy), whose great contribution was to apply to Anatomy the methods developed by the Renaissance humanist scholars.
 He is considered as the founder of modern human anatomy. 


Vasalius wrote his famous book "De humani corporis fabrica" (On the Fabric of the Human Body), one of the most influential works in the history of Western medicine, at the age of 28!
