She is presently considered one of the strongest young climbers -among male or female-, of all time! 
The New York Times newspaper called 14 year old Ashima Shiraishi  a "Bouldering Phenom".

Red River Gorge (Kentucky, USA): 11 year old Ashima Shiraishi pictured climbing Southern Smoke (5.14c). She became the youngest person to succeed at this route.
