South Africa´s Re-Breeding Project: Extinct Quaggas


The Quaggaa uniquely South African animal that inhabited the Karoo and southern Free State was hunted to extinction in the late 1800´s by colonists, who considered the species as competitors for their grass-eating sheep, goats and livestock.
