Pablo
Picasso was born in
Malaga, Spain.
He is
famous for being the co-founder of Cubism, a style of painting where objects of the painting subject are separated or fragmented and re-painted in an abstract form.
Picasso's
work is divided into periods:
The Blue Period (1901-1904), when he made sad looking paintings using blue and blue-green colors.
The Rose Period (1905-1907), a more happy style with orange and pink colours.

The
Cubism Period (1909- 1919)
Picasso also made ceramic and bronze sculptures, drawings, etchings and
poetry.
He also re-created famous artist's paintings in his own
style.
